Hang a sign on the door that says ‘open’ and you will have people flocking in by the thousands. This isn't true for a physical store front, nor is it true for websites. Sometimes it is easy to get caught up in the boom of the internet and think that once you have a website you are ready for business. It isn't always the case.
Advertising takes many forms, and you have to be able to use the ones that will get you the most for your hard earned dollar. A website serves no purpose if no one sees it. If you are considering investing in a website, consider combining the web with printed cards, or advertising. On the internet there are millions of signs that say ‘open‘,a card (poster, billboard, letterhead) with your web address can go a long way in helping people find you.
